AUO exhibited a full range of solar energy solutions at Energy Taiwan, including high-efficiency solar modules, comprehensive construction services for power plants, and complete power plant operation and maintenance and energy management systems. AUO’s self-developed SunSteel PV corrugated sheet and SunCurva lightweight modules also premiered at the exhibition; these two technologies will help the industry to easily participate in solar power generation and actively increase the proportion of green electricity.
At the same time, AUO exhibited at the Taipei Building Show 2021, where it premiered SunBello's aesthetic BAPV/BIPV solution that combines power generation efficiency and aesthetic design with smart microgrid and energy storage management, creating an aesthetic and sustainable zero-energy building (ZEB).
This year, AUO won "Excellent System Manufacturer" and "Excellent Ground-mounted System” in the 2021 Top Solar Awards with its performance in a diversity of fields. Also, due its combination of an artistic sense with technology in aesthetic solar modules, which has broken the stereotypical public perception of solar modules, AUO was also recognized with the 2022 "Taiwan Excellence Award" mark.
